Handmade Rustic Farm House Stretcher Base Table

A Rustic Farmhouse Table with a Story to Tell

Custom-built by KLP Restorations, this one-of-a-kind farmhouse table combines rustic charm with a fascinating piece of local history.

The base features reclaimed timber stretcher base with distinctive chain detailing, while the tabletop is a reclaimed high school science workbench from the Somerset region, complete with its original sink cut-out and Bunsen burner holes.

To complement the original top, we’ve crafted a silky oak lid (not pictured) to fit neatly into the sink opening, adding both practicality and a beautiful timber feature.

Rich in patina, character and history, this table is a wonderful example of giving old materials a new purpose while preserving the stories they hold.

A truly unique statement piece, full of country charm and history, ready to become a feature in its next home.
